What is FSRS, and why does it matter?
FSRS-6 estimates the next review from your previous answers. Rate a card and see the planned interval before choosing. The schedule adapts as you study.
How does the review loop work?
Tap a card to flip it, then rate how it went on a four-button row: Again, Hard, Good, Easy. Under each button you can see the interval that grade would set, so you know the consequence of your answer before you tap. Deckmere reschedules the card and moves you to the next one that’s due.
Your decks
Can I import my existing Anki decks?
Yes. Anki packages ending in .apkg or .colpkg, from older and current Anki versions, come across with their formatting, tags, subdecks, images, audio and cloze cards. You choose whether to keep your Anki progress or start fresh. Anki’s image occlusion notes, video and links to online media are not imported; the import screen counts them before anything is written, and a report is saved.
Can I import a spreadsheet or a list I paste?
Yes. CSV and TSV files and pasted two-column lists get a preview of the real cards, with the columns and the deck to choose, before anything is saved.
How do I move my library to another phone?
Open the backup, restore and export section in Settings. Create one .deckmere backup containing every deck, card, image and recording, then restore it on the other device. Backups work between iPhone, iPad and Android. Restoring adds missing records and repairs missing media without deleting existing material.
How does the AI card generation work?
Paste notes to draft cards with Apple Intelligence or Gemini Nano on supported devices, or a rules-based helper elsewhere. The screen names the source, and your notes stay on the device. Check each draft before keeping it. Five kept drafts a day are free. Pro adds drafting from PDFs and photos and removes the daily quota.
Where are my decks stored?
On your device. On iPhone and iPad, decks sync automatically through your private iCloud when you are signed in; Your data shows the last sync. Android stores decks locally and does not sync. Use a backup to move your library between platforms. There is no Deckmere account, and we cannot read your decks.
Do I need to create an account or sign in?
No Deckmere account is needed. Purchases belong to the Apple or Google account used to buy them. On iPhone and iPad, automatic sync uses your own signed-in iCloud account. You can study on Android without a cloud account.

What’s free, and what does the purchase unlock?
Free, with no card or deck cap and no time limit: studying, the self-check, every import, export, backup and restore, and five generated cards a day. Pro costs €12.99 once and adds images, audio, cloze and image occlusion when you make cards, cards from PDFs and photos, the saved mistake list and self-check history, goal dates, bulk editing and drafting without a daily limit. Imported image and cloze cards stay free to study, export and correct. Everyone who bought Deckmere before has Pro. Family Sharing is included on iOS.
Is it really one-time? You won’t switch to a subscription later?
Pro is a one-time purchase. You keep what you bought; there is no subscription and nothing renews.
I bought it on one device, do I have to pay again on another?
Restore your unlock on the same platform with the store account used to buy it. Open Settings, then Restore Purchases. Apple and Google purchases are separate; buying on one platform does not unlock the other. Family Sharing is included on iOS.
How do refunds work?
Through the store you bought it from, like every app purchase. On iPhone, request one at reportaproblem.apple.com; on Android, through your order history in Google Play. If something isn’t working, write to us anyway, we’d rather fix it.
